It's important to share what you know because you may be asking these other fellow technicians or some of your friends for information. And if you don't share, they probably won't share with you, but by sharing and relaying what you know to others, you know, of reinforcing what you already know also, and then you find out, hey, they are going to tell me something else that I didn't know, and I can add that to my library.
So it's good to share because some people come up with some things that you might have missed, some little simple basic stuff because sometimes you try to get too technical.
